upgrades and installations
Does your computer need an upgrade, or do you need assistance installing some complex software? Most upgrades can take place in the home and we can advise on the most appropriate hardware or software.
Hardware upgrades can range from the straight-forward installation of something like a CD or DVD drive, through to the replacement of the central processor, main board or case of your computer.
We can also perform software upgrades, such as migrations to Windows XP (ensuring that all files and email are saved and transferred in the process) or the installation of a demanding game. Before each installation we will evaluate the target computer to ensure it meets the 'minimum system requirements' for the new software.
Likewise, we can install peripheral devices such as multi-function printer/scanner/copiers, as well as assisting with the installation or upgrade of your Internet connection (from dial-up to broadband, for example).
