problem solving
There can be many sources of a problem on a computer, caused in part by their complexity. However, the vast majority of issues relate to unreliable, incorrect or out-of-date software, as well as hardware faults and failures.
Many problems originate from viruses and spyware, which we can detect and remove. However, ensuring that you have the correct and most up-to-date 'drivers' to control your computer's hardware and peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras, etc) is also essential.
Hardware faults can also occur, although they are less common - typical examples include failed power-supplies and hard drives, with laptops also encountering hardware problems more frequently. We can often replace failed hardware on site, although any data on a failed hard-disk is often irrecoverable.
Whatever the nature of your computer problem, we can usually isolate the cause quickly and can often rectify it at your home within an hour or so.
