home networking (including wireless)
Home computer networks are becoming ever-more popular as the number of household technologies with support for the Internet increases.
Once installed, a home network can allow several devices (desktops, laptops, ipods, pdas, hi-fi and games-consoles) to share an Internet connection, transfer files and use peripherals such as printers.
One of the most popular solutions are 'wireless' networks, which can be particularly effective when used with laptops, or where the distances between devices is relatively small.
We can install both 'wired' and 'wireless' networks in the home and will ensure that all wireless links are encrypted, preventing unknown parties (neighbours, for example) from using your Internet connection without your knowledge.
