max20
Canto Technologies were today able to identify and resolve a critical broadband issue experienced by MAX20 , one of our long-standing clients.
Thankfully for MAX20 their broadband was provided through our partner company, Talk-101 , who were able to assist with diagnosis of the problem. This turned out to be an unexpected (and unannounced) change by British Telecom at the local telephone exchange, resulting in the MAX20 broadband connection being disabled.
Had this broadband connection been provided through a provider other than Canto and Talk-101, MAX20 would probably have been in for a long delay while the line was tested and problem identified - in the event we had it pinpointed within a hour and BT managed to dispatch and engineer the same day to resolve the problem at the exchange.
MAX20 have now requested that Canto I.T provide a second broadband connection with automatic 'failover' so that any subsequent failure in their primary connection is automatically handled and routed through the second line in a transparent manner, providing business continuity.
Under normal circumstance this second line will be used to 'load-balance' their existing connection.
