Today saw the final stages of a successful deployment of a new server and number of workstations at iPcom , replacing their existing ageing computers.
iPcom initially approached Canto Technologies to assist with their office relocation, after being recommended from Outsourcing Design . However, after assessing their existing equipment Canto suggested replacing their existing equipment, migrating all files, email, contacts and calendars at the same time.
A number of improvements were also implemented during the move, including removal of of ageing 'firewall' computer that presented a dangerous point-of-failure, as well as implementation of off-site backups.
Both the move and migration went smoothly, with the minimum of disruption to ongoing activities at iPcom who were delighted with the outcome.
